Account and integrations
Ask an assistant to check your account
Ask a connected assistant to read records or send a specific text.
Before you begin
Authorize an MCP-capable assistant using your deployment’s connection details. MCP lets it request named tools. Sending requires a connected device, active sending access and a consenting recipient saved in your contact lists and not opted out.
What to do
- Ask the assistant to check your numbers with list_devices. It returns device identifiers, the codes distinguishing each number.
- Ask it to find a campaign using list_campaigns, then request its results through get_campaign_report with campaign_id from that account.
- Request saved automation or unsubscribes through list_broadcast_rotations, list_auto_responder_rules or list_opt_outs. These tools read records.
- Explicitly request an intended send using send_text_message with device_id, phone and message. The phone needs 8–15 digits including country code, without + or spaces. The message accepts up to 4,096 characters.
- Read the returned result before requesting another send.
- Use the panel for edits unavailable through the assistant.
Worked example
Example data: ask “Show my numbers and my Appointment reminder campaign results. Do not send anything.” The assistant uses list_devices, list_campaigns and get_campaign_report with the campaign_id it found. This only reads records.
How to check it worked
Reads return this account’s records or an empty list. A successful send result confirms the request succeeded; check the receiving conversation for delivery evidence.
What to know
- The six list/report tools read data. send_text_message sends a real message; repeating it can send another copy.
- list_campaigns accepts optional status and limit; list_opt_outs accepts optional limit. Keep these names and keys unchanged.
Common problems
- What you see
- A device or campaign is not found.
- What to do
- Request the current account list and use the returned identifier, not its display name.
- What to expect
- The tool locates a record owned by this account.
- What you see
- The send is rejected.
- What to do
- Check the recipient’s saved contact-list entry and opt-out state, sending access and device ownership before retrying.
- What to expect
- An eligible request can send once; an opted-out recipient remains excluded.
