Set a daily sending allowance

Set a number’s daily allowance and its daily increase for supported workflows.

Before you begin

Have a registered device, the WhatsApp number connected to ZapBot. Decide its initial allowance, target and daily increase.

What to do

  1. Open Settings and find Daily limits per device.
  2. Choose Add to open the configuration form.
  3. Select the device whose allowance you want to configure.
  4. Enter the initial daily limit, maximum target and daily increment. The target must be at least the initial limit.
  5. Choose Save and wait for the confirmation.
  6. Check that the saved device limit is enabled.
  7. Review today’s usage and remaining allowance. Console Warm-up also summarizes enabled limits.

Worked example

Example data: set an initial limit of 10 messages, a target of 30 and an increase of 5 per day. The allowance progresses through 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30, then stays at 30. If today’s limit is 20 and 8 sends are counted, 12 remain.

How to check it worked

The device shows its saved values and enabled switch. Usage counts sends, not recipients who read them.

What to know

  • Campaigns and daily group rotations check this allowance. It is not a universal cap: fixed interval schedules, quick sending, assistant sending and incoming-message handling do not all enforce it in the same way.
  • Disable a device limit with its switch or use Remove daily limit when you intend to remove it. Neither action disconnects WhatsApp.
  • The messages-per-minute setting controls pace. A daily allowance does not guarantee protection from account restrictions.

Common problems

What you see
No device limit appears in Console Warm-up.
What to do
Check Settings for a saved, enabled limit on the intended device.
What to expect
Enabled device limits appear in the summary.
What you see
A campaign pauses when the allowance is exhausted.
What to do
Check the selected devices’ remaining allowances and the campaign status before resuming.
What to expect
You can resume when the intended devices have available allowance; changing an unrelated device does not resolve it.
